I’m a huge fan of the matching sets (or coordinates) we’ve seen around the location in the past year or so.  I believe they’re stylish as well as uncomplicated and… every other clichéd thumbs up fashion adjective in the book.  However, when dropping funds on these kinds of matching sets, I frequently get hung up on the “one hit wonder” aspect that these duos all as well frequently espouse.  But as you can see above, if you remind yourself that the two are not, in fact, conjoined twins, you can truly get fantastic utilize out of them separately.  Each post alone can serve as the best neutral base or layering piece for a totally different get-up.

It goes without stating that the skirt depicted right here is absolutely not something that you’ll want to don at work, so I reserve using the duo together (or the skirt alone) for nights as well as weekends.  The top alone, however, melds completely into this workwear ensemble that I was sporting yesterday during the day.

Also, to make sure I don’t always believe of them as a unit, I really hang them besides each other in my closet.  The skirt in the skirt section; the top in the top section. (Did you get that? It’s extremely complicated…)  I feel a bit bit like I’m breaking up a household by doing this, however it absolutely assists to get a lot more utilize out of the pieces by forcing myself to see them as unique entities.  I can’t speak to exactly how they’re taking care of the separation anxiety, however I’m quite sure the top whispered “homewrecker” when I was putting it on yesterday.
